Who is Behind Home Poker System?
Squirrelinabox Media created, owns,
and operates Home Poker System. Currently, Squirrelinabox Media is a one man operation.
This means you've got a highly passionate person behind the scenes here making Home
Poker System the best it can be.
What is Home Poker System?
It's an online home poker game management website. What does that mean exactly?
Well, you can register you league online, schedule games, send invites, post results,
and do a whole lot more. Basically Home Poker System is an online home for your
home games or poker tournaments. The site makes it easier to keep track of stats
and schedule games and because it's all online, you have access to your league information
anywhere you have internet.
Why Have Two Versions?
This site was always intended to have a paid version at some point. The simple matter
is that running a website like this costs money and advertising alone can't support
it (not unless I went far more aggressive with significantly more annoying ads).
As such, having a free version of the website that's ad-supported and a "Pro" version
that requires a monthly subscription seemed like the best way to go.
This way, people can still create and manage their leagues without paying a dime
and still have access to all the features (as well as a few new ones) they had before.
Those that want a few additional features (such as custom pages, forums, photo gallery,
etc.) have the option of paying a small monthly fee to have access to the more advanced
functionality the website offers.
The only new restriction on the free version is a player limit of 50. If your league
has 50 or more players, you won't be able to add any additional players using the
free version.
Where Can I Find Out More?
You can check out the
features page for a good list
of available features for both HPS Free and HPS Pro. Advertisers should check out
the
advertising page for more information regarding
the ad space that's available on this site.
If you have further questions regarding just about anything, you can head on over
to the
contact page and send me an email. I try to respond
to all emails within a business day.
